Thankfulness Roundup

"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever." (Psalm 106:1)

I am thankful it is Friday.  But I am also thankful...

• for the students in my senior seminar.  They are bringing it and doing great.  I am proud of them, and a thankful to be learning and growing with them. 
• for the student who positively vibrated with joy yesterday as she shared how God is working in her life.
• for the many people who have (and continue to) step in, step up, and show they care.
• that I can contribute to an excellent local organization that strives to address food insecurity by helping people up instead of just helping them out.  We are currently finalizing the annual holiday party for the families, and I am so excited to participate! 
• that I've been able to be more human this week, and reconnect with people/be social, and talk and eat without excruciating pain.  I like people more in these contexts--and I am sure they like me better, too!
• for my hubby, who has been nothing but loving and sacrificial help these last few weeks, and who sent flowers to me yesterday, just because.  
• for the rumors that my parents are going to surprise us with a visit this weekend.
• for the ability to write--even if no one else reads what I produce.
